CONGRATS TO 8TH GRADERS! 8th grade Confirmation tests were AMAZING! I am so, So, SO proud of all of you on your accomplishment!! Keep up the good work... only about 6 weeks until the BIG Day! :)

** The purpose of this blog is to be a resource for students and parents to provide an overview of the weekly agenda and assignments in 6th grade Reading and M/S Religion. Please know that my lesson plans posted on here are as accurate as can be. However, they are not set in stone and can change throughout the week. If there are any changes, the students will be made aware of them in class and it is their responsibility to adjust accordingly.**

6th Grade Literature 10/17-10/21

We are finished up with the City of Ember and are now on to the film version of the story.  While watching the movie this week, students are taking notes on the differences and similarities they see in the movie and the book.  They will then be writing a paper on the similarities/differences and also what they liked/didn't like about the movie.  This helps keep the movie viewing somewhat academic!! :)  I will also be collecting the notebooks for the City of Ember for the final time on Friday, October 21.
